  • Why are blue states the highest among mortgage delinquencies and foreclosures?

Posted by admin on April 21st, 2010 and filed under realestate com | 17 Comments »

    http://promo.realestate.yahoo.com/no_slowdown_in_foreclosure_filings.html
Yeahboy- I thought that at first too but its based on per capita.
THOMAS- The three top states are CA, NY, MI. These arent red states. Im not looking for party politics.

Because Blue states have the highest racial diversities, and thus have bigger cities with rough neighborhoods. These neighborhoods are very fickle when it comes to turns to the economy. The democrats made laws requiring mortgage companies to meet racial quotas. Mortgage companies wanting to meet these guidelines gave out mortgages to anyone that came into their office regardless of financial histories. Many of those people were from these economically fickle neighborhoods, and once the economy takes a slight downturn, we have the mess we have.

How is it that Yahoo! Real Estate is allowed to publish false real estate facts?

Posted by admin on April 17th, 2010 and filed under realestate com | 2 Comments »

Yahoo has a featured story today linked to the url http://realestate.yahoo.com/Real_estate_news/story?s=rytimes/item-4bcc1fc619fd6bf106034420ddf198de.html How is it that Yahoo! is allowed to post such misleading information about the housing market and post no writer’s name? The information posted in this editorial is posted as fact. Shouldn’t that be illegal? How does Yahoo! get away with it?
For instance, in this editorial, an anonymous Yahoo! Real Estate staff writer states that "There is no housing bubble." The facts are very clear that this is the biggest real estate bubble in history. This misinformation could lead more people into losing hundreds of thousands of dollars. Why would Yahoo! do this to their users? Could this be why Yahoo! is falling so far behind Google?
Clearly, before Yahoo! Real Estate presents what they believe to be fact before millions of users, shouldn’t they cite things like the Shiller Graph which define, without a doubt, that there is a dangerous housing bubble in the US? http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/113/2109/1600/shillergraph.gif
I would prefer answers from unbiased Realtors, thanks. Realtors are given clear talking points designed to defraud their clients out of thousands of dollars. See http://www.realtor.org/home_buyers_and_sellers/its_a_great_time_to_buy_a_home.html

I state the facts. Please don’t use Yahoo! Answers to spread lies and rob people of their life savings.

Your interpretation of the data does not jibe with that given by many others. So, it is going a bit overboard to accuse Yahoo of playing fast and loose with the facts. In my area, there are several houses that have been on the market for quite a while, but they are way overpriced.

Who do they think they are kidding? Boston as one of the 10 best places to raise kids?

Posted by admin on April 13th, 2010 and filed under realestate com | 2 Comments »

    http://realestate.yahoo.com/promo/americas-10-best-places-to-grow-up.html;_ylc=X3oDMTFyMm5kZzRjBF9TAzI3MTYxNDkEX3MDOTc2MjA0NjUEc2VjA2ZwLXRvZGF5BHNsawNiZXN0LXBsYWNlcy1ncm93LXVw

Boston is a drug infested cesspool. A friend’s daughter came to visit, her first time in Boston, bought heroin, ODed and died within an hour of arriving. If junkies can find the drugs, why can’t the cops?

My husband grew up in Boston. We laughed at that article. The public school system is absolutely horrible. The traffic is mad. It is drug infested. Over the past several years has turned into a police state. Property taxes are over the top. Energy prices are taxed to death and cost a fortune to get through the winter. Gun laws benefit the criminals instead of law abiding citizens. The cops can’t protect you and you can’t protect yourself. It is a total haven for criminals.

What is the best real estate website? or any cheap rental properties?

Posted by admin on April 11th, 2010 and filed under realestate com | 4 Comments »

I need a cheap rental property for me and a friend in the northern suburbs anyone knw if any are available or any other real estate websites apart from realestate.com.au and domain.com.au…

    thanks soldiers…

Web sites are a good place to find an apartment or house to rent, if you want to go through the entire list to find one in your state and then city.

The best place to look for places to rent is to go to the yellow pages of your telephone book, look under property managers.

These individuals list properties for rent in certain areas, so make sure you select the areas in which you wish to rent.

Call several of the property managers listed there, tell them you want a list of properties that they have for rent. Some will fax, email or mail the list of local places to rent along with the address, number of bedrooms and bath rooms, amenities available, such as washer and dryers or gyms, the monthly rental of the unit. Most will include a rental application. These list will include the monthly rental required, if a lease or month to month agreement will be signed. They will also indicate if they will accept Section 8 vouchers.

They might indicate a web site that you might visit to get their list of places to rent. It does not cost to get a rental list from a reputable property manager.

Some will require you to stop by their office and pick up the list. A lot of them post their list outside so the list are available 24/7 360.

Make sure you don’t fall for the scams and purchase a list as 70%-80% of these list are composed of free list they have compiled. They are not the property managers of any property in most instances.

You might also google Property managers in whatever city or community you want to live in and see what comes up. Again do not pay for this information as it is free from reliable property managers.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

Ok, Ok, I wouldn’t NORMALLY name a house… HOWEVER!!! We have a country house names "Bellamore" and then we have an appartment which we call "The Wellsace" as in Versace as a bit of a joke…. so we need a name for this place so we can say "We are staying at XXXX tonight" Its just a sort of quirky thing we have going, nothing serious!!! OK!!!!
