Agree… the 1st thing comes into my mind (even as a foreigner) when talking about LA is that sign… it is the ultimate LA Icon.

true, it’s one of the last few things we have in this country that’s oLD. i agree w/many posts below, condos are an evil cancer which none should ever be built, over priced apartments is what they are. Condos everywhere can’t sell. If i can’t talk w/my friend in the living room w/out getting yelled at by my neighbor, it’s not worth $2milion dollars, or even $2dollars! how they gonna sell them in this economy? And won’t they have to fight the Cell phone companies with their towers up there?
